Beautician Makes An Accidental Discovery Of A  “hack” For Glowing Eyebrows!

Many have tried before her this glue-stick beauty hack that is meant to give your eyebrows a laminated look. It was even revealed by celebrity make-up artist Suzy Clarke(1) as her secret to creating the perfect fluffy, faux lamination brows at home. However, this lady shared with viewers her unpleasant experience where she learned that the brand matters when it comes to this hack.

Chloe, who has shared on the app many beauty tips, used Pritt Stick on her eyebrows on a night out to the bowling alley. She was in for more amusement than she had hoped for when she realized that her brows glowed in the dark.

Beautician Discovers Glue Stick Eyebrow Hack!

The beautician thus had this time a warning gleaned from personal experience. “A reminder not to go to the bowling alley when there are UV lights when you’ve used Pritt Stick to glue down your eyebrows.”

The reason in her own words – “Because it turns out, it glows in the dark, massively.”

Pritt Stick is a glue stick initially sold under the brand name by the German company Henkel. It has now come to be used as a generic term for any glue stick in the UK and other countries.  Using a glue stick to achieve a defined-looking eyebrow is a hack that had once made the rounds on the internet. This is an inexpensive hack and a quick one for women on the go. Usually with no side effects or botched work to be wary of. 

‘Microblading’ was the first of the professional techniques women resorted to for the high-shine effect. This is a permanent procedure involving needles and colors, deemed as a solution to thinning or unruly eyebrows.

Besides microblading, there is “eyebrow lamination“- a relatively new alternative- which is essentially a brow-hair texturizing treatment. Also known as “eyebrow perming”, it involves “perming” of the eyebrow hairs to provide a fuller, more even look. It is a non-invasive, semi-permanent procedure that lasts four to six weeks and serves to keep your brow in place after washing off cosmetics. 

Chloe, who goes by the username @_chloe_michaela_(2) on Tiktok, used a Pritt Stick for the same effect and the result was hilarious. The glue glowed in the dark, rendering her brows a look more ‘Halloween’ than trendy. “I can’t believe I’m out in public looking like this,” says an embarrassed Chloe after her embarrassing experience. She can be seen in the clip, standing under the UV light at the bowling alley, with both her brows glowing a bright, neon white.

While most viewers had a good laugh at the funny predicament Chloe found herself in, a few were critical of people who used things for purposes they are not intended for.

“Omg how funny ???????? x.” exclaimed one.

“Wow the legend strikes again ????????????,” commented another.

One viewer related a similar experience saying, 

“My son wrote ‘Wanker’ on his sister’s head and first I saw it was in mini golf ????,”

Chloe also made a comment on her own video, one that suggests that hers is probably not the worst possible encounter with such an accident.

“Like imagine going for your first date looking like this ????????.”

The 21-second clip has garnered more than 90,000 views in a day.
