Jenna Johnson And Val Chmerkovskiy Rock Red Carpet 

Jenna Johnson, 29, and Val Chmerkovskiy, 37, walked the red carpet at Make-Up Artists & Hair Stylists Guild Awards looking their absolute best in black ensembles. The pair also posed together for plentiful shots including the iconic pose that every dancing couple makes at the end of their performance.

A Showstopping Entry

For the occasion, the ballroom dancer opted for an off-shoulder black gown that accented a statement-making fringe cut that extended to the floor from her upper thighs. Adding a touch of allure, the fashion mogul paired pointed black open heels and chose simple accessories including diamond earpieces and a silver bracelet. She finished off the look with dewy makeup, nude lips, and dramatically winged eyeliner. 

As for her husband and dancing partner Val, he went with a classic style sporting a white t-shirt that was topped with a suit that featured a plunging neckline and paired it with coordinating black pants and black shiny shoes. 

Ahead of the big night, Chmerkovskiy was in charge of hosting the MUAHS Awards’s official red-carpet pre-show. While hosting the ceremony, he chatted with almost all the talent present on the red carpet. Following the show, the 37-year-old dancer shared a post about hosting the pre-show that honored the talented make-up artists. 

“First time for everything,” Chmerkovskiy captioned the recap video he posted on Instagram. “Thanks for trusting me with the carpet,” he wrote, adding, “I had a blast.” 

He then continued to appreciate the nominees, sponsors, and presenters of the show, while also honoring the unsung artists who bring so much to the table that are enjoyed by the world of arts. He then concluded his long caption by acknowledging the creative team behind his career-breaker show “Dancing with the Stars.” 

Back in 2022, pregnant Johnson and Chmerkovskiy made headlines for appearing at the 2022 ESPYS. On that occasion, their fans were served with a visual treat as it was the foremost public appearance made by the Dancing with the Stars pro ever since she got pregnant with her first child. She walked the red carpet wearing a stunning black dress, showcasing her baby bump and her look was so mesmerizing that it deserved its own mirror ball trophy. 

For the night, Johnson was styled by the famous celebrity hairstylist Bradley Leake using Boujee Beauty, Redken, and Hidden Crown Hair. She was accompanied by Chmerkovskiy who appeared in a classical suit without the tie. 

The couple together revealed their pregnancy news on Instagram on July 15, 2022. “Baby Chmerkovskiy coming this January. Our biggest dream comes true yet,” she captioned the post. “My heart has been growing with this little miracle inside me,” she quipped, adding “We cannot wait anymore to meet our precious angel.”

The pregnancy news came almost 3 years after the two tied the knot in 2019. Johnson, who shared about taking a 6-month break from trying to conceive to mentally and emotionally feed themselves wrote that she was in “disbelief, shock, and sheer joy,” when she first took the pregnancy test which came out positive.
