Kim Kardashian Flaunts Curves in Balenciaga Black Lace Dress At PFW

Kim Kardashian made a show-stopping entry at Balenciaga’s Paris Fashion Week show on Sunday, March 3, wearing a gothic gown resembling Mortica Addam. The dress from the fashion house’s fall/winter 2024-25 collection featured a turtleneck, dramatic sleeve flares, and an open back. The centerpiece accented a scoop neckline with see-through flowy cuffs. As she walked, the coordinated skirt trailed behind her making the attendees fall in love with the ensemble. For the glam, the SKIMMS founder opted for sultry makeup including bronzy cheeks, dark brown smokey eyes, long opulent white nails, and pink lips.

Kim Kardashian Steals Attention At The Balenciaga Show During Paris Fashion Week

The fashion chameleon completed her look with a slicked-back ponytail. However, for the occasion, Kardashian did not wear a single piece of jewelry. Yet there was a piece of accessory dangling down her neck- a large, errant Balenciaga tag. Though it was not meant to be used as an accessory, it elevated the cool factor of her dress in such a way that the tag looked like an expensive item. 

Usually, models tuck the tags in before the walk so that they do not bring the tag into talking. However, Kardashian seems to have never thought of the tag before deciding to walk with it dangling down from her back. Many on social media platforms are also disappointed with the photographers and other people who were seen around her, for not giving her a heads-up about the tag. 

However, after a point, everybody realized that it was not Kardashian’s mistake, but a purposeful fashion stunt that everybody in the ramp followed. Each Balenciaga model walked the runway with similar Balenciaga tags attached to either their dresses or their accessories. 

This is not the first time Kardashian has walked for the reputed brand, as the fashion mogul was seen rocking an Erewhon x Balenciaga grocery bag as a purse to represent Balenciaga’s fall 2024 collection at the fashion walk in December 2023 in LA. Although the bag she wore at the event was not for sale, the brand did sell reusable grocery totes for $425 each. For the occasion, she slipped into a nude leggings layered with lace and a zip-up jacket. She topped the ensemble with oversized black reflective sunglasses. 

She has been working with the Balenciaga creative director Demna Gvasalia since 2022.  Very recently, the brand had an ad where kids were holding teddy bear bags dressed in weird outfits. After the pictures of the ad went viral on social media, Kim took to Instagram that she was really upset with the shoot. 

“I was shaken by the disturbing images,” said the mom of four. She further added that she discussed with the Balenciaga team to understand what exactly happened that they went forward with such a theme.

“Any attempt to normalize child abuse of any kind should be given no place in our society. Also, the safety of our children must be given the highest regard,” she remarked at the time adding, “As for my future with Balenciaga, I will have to re-evaluate things once again with them.” Though she did not make any comment about her final decision with Balenciaga, her appearance at their fashion event cleared the air.
