Amanda Bynes Opens Up About Her Eyelid Plastic Surgery

Amanda Bynes, most popularly known for her debut as a child actor in the Nickelodeon Sketch Comedy Series, All That, explains why she has a changed look through a social media post. Amanda revealed she had an eyelid surgery that resulted in her revamped look.

“It was one of the best things I could have done for my self-confidence, and it made me feel a lot better in my skin,” said Bynes. 

Bynes added why she had to take up social media to explain about her surgery. “I just wanted to post about that just to clear up that rumor as to why I have a new look,” shared Amanda. 

Blepharoplasty(1) is rather a painful surgery that deals with the upper and lower eyelids. It is a rejuvenating procedure that is done to enhance the appearance of the eyes. The procedure is also done to fix the drooping eyelids to enhance the vision. 

In another post, Amanda addressed the recent paparazzi pictures that made her look “goofy” due to poor lighting and shadows. The 37-year-old actress expressed how the “harsh” sunlight and its “shadows” made her “look terrible”. 

Amanda has been In and Out of mental facilities for more than a year. However, the She’s the Man star announced her comeback with a new podcast, with Paul Seiminski, whom she met during a treatment. The first episode of the “Amanda Bynes & Paul Seiminski” podcast will have LA-based tattoo artist Dahlia Moth as a guest for the interview.
