Actor Amy Jackson Gets Engaged To ‘Gossip Girl’ Star Ed Westwick

The musician proposed to his model girlfriend during their ski trip to Switzerland. “Hit the jackpot,” Westwick wrote on his Instagram story on Monday with Amy noting on her IG post, Hell YES.” The actor shared a series of snaps on her IG, where Ed was seen on his knees proposing to his lady diva on one knee. As for Amy, she got clicked while she was clasping her mouth in awe. The ‘White Gold’ alum’ popped the question on the Peak Walk by Tissot, one of the world’s renowned hanging mountain bridges.

The pictures came out incredible. Amy in a high ponytail, stunned in a black turtle neck top that she rocked under an off-white bubble jacket. She paired it with off-white bell pants. As for Ed, he wore military green pants and a T-shirt and topped it with a grey bubble jacket. They both sided their looks in casual shoes. 

Amy and Ed met for the first time via a close friend of the 36-year-old at Silverstone Racetrack in 2021. The pair, who were strangers at that time, was invited separately to race with Aston Martin. Ed, who recalled his memory of that day in a talk show last October, said that he thought of making the first move as soon as possible, the moment he saw Amy.

The two chatted on their first rendezvous for a bit and he immediately asked her out for a coffee. “Her lap time was a lot better than mine,” he said referring to the game they were in. On that day, Amt effortlessly outshined Ed’s performance. When asked if he had an immediate feeling for her, the Gossip Girl star replied,” She has been making my heart race from the very first day.”

Soon after their foremost gathering at the racetrack, the two coincidentally moved near each other. According to the English musician, “She was looking to move Hampstead in London,’ the same place he was also planning to move to. However, she was the one to move there first, he moved shortly afterward to one of his properties, which was very close to where Amy stayed. 

For some time, the two enjoyed a quieter life outside the city. Surrounded by the countryside, they stayed in a house, that is so much isolated from the city. He expressed his delightedness to see each other and their neighbor’s horses every day.

After their coffee date, the couple went Instagram official in June 2022 and ever since, the two are frequently seen on each other’s grids.
