Remove eyelashes from your eyes safely by following these steps:

  1. First things first, wash your hands properly with soap and water, and towel dry your hands.
  2. If you have any contact lenses on, remove them before removing the eyelash.
  3. Now sit/stand in front of a mirror and gently pull your eye’s upper skin (above the brow bone) and skin beneath the eyes, to get a better coverage of the eye.
  4. Look carefully and check if you see the eyelashes floating around your eye’s surface. Sometimes, the eyelash might not be visible if it’s on your pupil, so look closely.
  5. Now try blinking several times so that the natural tears of your eyes can flush out the eyelash.
  6. If you don’t see the eyelash and feel like it’s under the upper or lower lid of the eyes, then try looking upward, downward, right, and left directions several times so that the eyelash can pull up on the surface.
  7. If you see the eyelash floating towards your lower lid, take a wet cotton swab and gently pick the eyelash. Use this trick only if you see the eyelash on the white part of your eyes.
  8. If that doesn’t work, try saline solution or artificial tears to wash out the eyelash. Or just splash water in your eyes to remove the eyelash naturally with the water.
  9. If the above step doesn’t work either, take a small cup and fill it with lukewarm filtered water. Lower your head and try to dip the surface of your eyes in the water.
