Sciatica pain is intense and hard to tolerate. The discomfort can affect the lower back, hips, and thighs might also need complete rest to recover from such pain. It does disturb one’s daily routine activities of a person(1).

Medically, sciatica is caused by the inflammation of the sciatic nerve. The healthy condition of the nerve is necessary for the proper functioning of the muscles and feet. The nerve stretches from the lower back via the hips and each leg. The inflammation can cause numbness, which is extremely painful. The factors leading to sciatica pain are age, obesity, occupation, and diabetes.

The singer had lost 100 pounds and talked about how focusing on her body helped her to cope with the anxiety after the divorce. That can be a reason for her to be prone to sciatic pain. Her profession being a singer is a strenuous job, performing for long hours and under stress might have been the reasons for her diagnosis.

During her childhood, she had suffered from disc misplacement(2), and even post-pregnancy she had endured the same. Hence, made her more prone to this pain and suffering.

Despite all of this, the singer prioritized her body and mental health. She also promotes awareness among fans regarding her situations in life and empowers others through her pain.

Prevention is better than cure, but it’s not easy to avoid sciatica pain. As Adele told in an interview that ‘exercise’ is the best option to keep the pain under control and to have a healthy core.

People have to keep in mind that some exercises are to be avoided while exercising for sciatica pain relief. Exercises like jumping, jogging, and running in excess can make your condition worse. If your work involves sitting and standing for long hours, such circumstances can enhance sciatica pain. Water exercises are the sole getaway for sciatica pain relief.

Adele experienced extreme numbness and discomfort around the lower back, hence aqua therapy will be a good recommendation for ease of pain. Even a trained chiropractor can be a source of instant relief as they focus on how to remove the pressure on the sciatic nerve.

Adele had expressed deep disappointment when the woman spoke rudely about her weight loss journey and objectified her body but the actual reasons and the consequences she dealt with were immense, sciatic pain being one among them.

Fans wish that the pain will be easy on her in the long run for the ‘Easy On Me’ singer, to perform better and perform more for them.
