On the latest episode of Jimmy Kimmel Live, Christine Applegate shared her experiences after she was diagnosed with MS. She joked about her condition after walking to the stage with the help of a cane. She asked that wouldn’t it be funny if she somersaulted the stage. She said that people would call her a liar and underlined that she is not as she is disabled.

In response to this conversation, Jimmy said that their exchanges made him realize that Christine has a very sick sense of humor. Jimmy also praised her for the way she dealt with the disease as she admitted that she was coping with MS with this sense of humor. Christina also mentioned that if it was not this way, she might be crying all the time. She has stopped stepping out of the house after the diagnosis.

The actress also shared about her daily battle with MS. She said that it sucks to live with this disease. She was honest about her feelings while talking about MS. She said that she was sure that people with MS would never consider the disorder as the best thing that has ever happened to them. She said that if someone considers it the best then their life would be crappy and then teased the audience by saying that she was joking.

Christina Announced A New Podcast

Christina, along with “The Sopranos” fame Jamie-Lynn Sigler who was also diagnosed with MS 22 years ago announced the details of their new podcast which will be premiered on 19 March. On “MeSsy,” the new weekly podcast, the two will talk about their experiences with the illness. Friends and co-stars will also be invited to appear as guests.

Christina addressed Sigler as the only person who really knows her. She shared that they would talk over the phone for hours, laughing and crying. It was during such phone conversations that they decided to start the podcast as they found it helpful. But the podcast wouldn’t solely be the talk about MS. Christina said that it would be boring and that she doesn’t want to talk much about it.

Christina also shared the updates on her health condition on the show. She said that her condition is the worst in the morning. She said that the disease has pissed her off completely but doesn’t want to live with it for the rest of her life. She was so determined to fight against it as she was committed to her 13-year-old daughter.
