Jax And Brittany Split After 4-year Marriage. Cartwright Asks For Prayers.

Putting an end to different speculations and gossip, reality TV stars Jax Taylor and Brittany Cartwright have officially announced their separation after four years of marriage. The couple shared the news on Thursday through their official podcast When Reality Hits. Brittany was the one who shared the news through the podcast and she made it clear that she made the decision to move into another home to take some time for herself and also to prioritize her mental health.

The couple had been quite active on their podcast and Cartwright shared the news to their fans stating that it is important to be real and honey with her listeners as they have shared so much of their personal life with them. She also added that marriages are hard in general and that she had particularly gone through rough years this past year. 

Taylor and Catwright had been together for four years and they have a son named Cruz Michael Cauchi, who is currently 2 years old. Along with announcing the news of their separation, Cartwright stated that she is taking one day at a time, and even though she is not sure about what the future holds, all her priority lies in being a great mom to her two-year-old son  Cruz. She ended her statement by asking her fans to pray for them and by ensuring that ‘everything will be just fine’. 

They are best known for their appearance on the Bravo series Vanderpump Rules. They had been a part of the show for quite some time before they both decided to leave in 2020. The couple announced that they would be leaving the show in 2020. And much to the surprise of the fans, the couple announced their separation weeks before the premiere of their new Vanderpump Rules spin-off show The Valley.

According to sources, this show follows a group of friends and their adventures. Taylor and Brittany are one of the five couples who are featured on the show alongside Jason and Janet Caperna, Kristen Doute and Luke Broderick, Danny and Nia Booko, and Jesse and Michael Lally.

Taylor and Cartwright met for the first time in 2015 in Los Angeles. At the time of their meeting, Taylor was a part of the third season of Vanderpump Rules and Cartwright used to work as a waitress at Hooters. They both hit it off right after their first meet and were seen posting pictures together on social media platforms. In November of the same year, they both were introduced as a couple officially on Vanderpump Rules. 

2017 was not a great year for the couple as rumors and gossip started to revolve around their relationship. Later that same year, Taylor admitted that he cheated on Brittany with his fellow star from the show Faith Stowers. With a lot on their plate and different issues surrounding their relationship, they reconciled in 2018 and decided to move together as a couple, giving a second shot at their relationship.

The couple announced their engagement news through Instagram and finally on June 29, 2019, they both decided to get married. The marriage ceremony was a grand function and it took place at Kentucky Castle in the home state of Brittany. The ceremony saw a lot of popular faces as guests, with a majority of the Vanderpump Rules stars in attendance. 

It was in September 2020 that the couple shared the news that they were soon going to be parents. But before welcoming their first child, the couple shocked their fans with yet another news of their exit from the show Vanderpump Rules. The news was announced in December 2020 and finally, in April of 2021, they welcomed their first child Cruz Michael Cauchi.

After announcing the news of their latest spin-off show The Valley in January 2024, fans were very excited to see their favorite couple on screen again and this latest news regarding their separation came as a shock to everyone alike. Brittany shared glimpses of her relationship status with Taylor in one of the episodes of the podcast but not the full story. Back then, she ended on a note that said that it’s her life and is not a publicity stunt for anything.
