The megahit sitcom “Friends” stars Jennifer Aniston and David Schwimmer reunited for a Super Bowl advertisement for Uber Eats. They have famously worked together for 10 years as on-and-off lovers.

The advertisement also has many other celebrity appearances, each giving us a laugh.

We were on a Break

Ross and Rachel in a super bowl ad

Dawid Schwimmer and Jennifer Aniston portrayed Ross and Rachel for over 10 years in the era-defining sitcom “Friends,” in which Ross and Rachel were lovers who couldn’t decide when to take a break and kept on going on and off with their relationship. In the end, they finally decided to be together.

The ad(1) begins with the Uber Eats motto, “Whatever you forget, just remember, Uber Eats gets almost anything.” Right after that Jennifer is seen taking a delivery from Uber Eats and giving her almost a prophetic reply to a staff of film set in amazement at her memory.

Aniston expressed that if you need to remember something, all you need to do is forget something else. Just as if waiting for a cue, Schwimmer came to her with a big smile and tried to hug her, only for her to take a defensive position and look puzzled, making the interaction awkward.

Then Aniston asks him whether they have met before, to which Schwimmer, with an almost exasperated tone, tells her that they worked ten years together. To which Aniston quipped that she knew him and that he was great.

Only for Schwimmer to catch her bluff and ask her if she still doesn’t remember him. Which prompted her to walk away while muttering that Schwimmer’s statement was idiotic and asking how she could forget ten years of her life. Prompting Schwimmer, to go full-on Rose and exclaims that he hates this town.

This reunion sparked interest among the vast “Friends” fandom, causing them to turn emotional as many comments pointed out a world where Ross and Rachel went together throughout their gags.

Some Netizens even celebrated this as proof they were still on a break, while others felt this could have been a nice chance to mention the missing sandwich, referencing Ross’s most memorable moments on the show.

A few netizens even suggested Ross accuse Rachel of eating his sandwich, as she doesn’t remember him. Moreover, a comment even suggests a part where Uber Eats forgets to bring Ross his sandwich, making him go on a rampage.

The Mystery of Memories

The ad also features David Beckham and his wife, Victoria Beckham, who had collectively forgotten the pop group she was part of. David started by asking his wife whether she remembered her time as a “Pepper Lady,” to which Victoria replied that it was supposed to be “Cinamon Sisters,” causing the super couple to go on guessing names like “Pauparika Girls” and “Basil Babes.”
