Kelly Rutherford Shares the Secret Behind Her Effortlessly Elegant Style 

The 55-year-old fashion chameleon, Kelly Rutherford, never fails to leave the fashion world spellbound with her astounding style as the saga continues to mesmerize others with her effortlessly chic style every day. “I love creating lives and creating worlds,” the trendsetter, who has been seen at both New York and Paris Fashion Week recently, said in a statement. It was one of the few public appearances she made after parenting out of the spotlight for the past 10 years. 

Kelly Rutherford is Finally Back on Track Following a Long Career Break 

After a hiatus, the actress is finally back on TV, starring in the French comedy ‘Escort Boys,’ and it is evident that she is also embracing the red carpet moments. 

When inquired about the secret behind her good looks, she said that it was inherited from her mother, who “looks really young for her age.” Saying that she went on to credit the “genetics” but also said that she prioritizes eating healthy food. 

The fashion icon believes that the actual secret of looking good is not to think about it too much but to enjoy life as it is. According to her, she lives based on that motto. ‘It is now my lifestyle,” she remarked. She also added that she finds it completely unfair when people consider women after 50 to be irrelevant. 

“I think, whatever age you are, being in gratitude for your health and well-being is the key,” the American actress continued. According to her, age is not the limit to enjoying your life and therefore, you can enjoy it the way you want regardless of whatever age you are. However, the tycoon is a fashion queen and there is no debate about it. Not everybody can flaunt in their 50s like Rutherford. 

When asked about her style, she said that she was into style even before she found her stardom via ‘Gossip Girl.’

“I used to make vision boards and I loved creating lives and worlds as a child. Not only fashion, but I also loved design and architecture,” she revealed. The saga has been using her social media accounts, mostly Instagram(1), for sharing her fashion inspirations and other life updates. 

“I have been using social media organically. I do not have assigned anyone to do it for me. I will never have, Rutherford asserted. “I do post photos and quotes like everybody else (on the platform) but it is not for likes,” she commented. 

The actress says that social media plays a major role in defining a person’s personality. She asserted that a person could find “stuff appropriate for their age” through such social media platforms that could keep them engaged and help them monitor their lifestyle.

“I think we all should necessarily do our best to put good energy out into the world. Because, the world needs it, and we all need it,” she concluded. 

In a recent interview, she finally opened up about her matters including how she lost custody of her dear children following a legal battle with her former husband, German entrepreneur, Daniel Giersch, which also made her go bankrupt in 2013. The two tied the knot in 2006 and parted ways in 4 years. In the meantime, they gave birth to two children, Hermes and Helena. Citing compatibility reasons, the two filed for a divorce in the year 2010.
