Savannah James, Lebron James’ Wife Showcases a $7500 Shimmering Black Velvet Dress

Savannah, the charming wife of the NBA star Lebron James, recently posted a picture on her Instagram handle wearing a black velvet dress. The jacket is crafted with shimmering black velvet on top of which the designer has attached a bunch of tonal goat hair. It is made of 43% cotton, 9% elastane, and 48% polyamide. On the brand Schiaparelli‘s website, you can see the collection listed at a whopping $7500. The Lakers superstar’s wife was on the way to Schiaparelli’s Haute Couture week in Paris. The off-shoulder bi-material tailored jacket made her turn heads as she chose to wear one of the unique collections of the Italian luxury fashion brand.   

Not Savannah’s First Stint With Schiaparelli

This is not the first time the fashion icon is seen in a Schiaparelli dress. However, she is occasionally spotted wearing different outfits of the same brand. This has even led to confusion about whether or not she is the brand ambassador of Schiaparelli.

The NBA’s all-time leading scorer Lebron James’ wife Savannah James went for a businesswear look in February 2023, while attending the Oklahoma City Thunder vs. Los Angeles Lakers basketball game. On this occasion, she slipped into a classic three-piece suit but reinterpreted it with a playful twist. She reigned the moment by conquering the attention of the attendees by pairing her Schiaparelli suit with a jacket embellished with a string of gold buttons on each side.

She paired the suit with matching high-waisted trousers and topped it up with a coordinating pin-striped waistcoat. However, the gold platform heels by Jimmy Choo and the Chanel bag turned out to be the highlight of the ensemble. She also amped up her overall style with a minimal dainty necklace. It was also one of the best days for her husband who had a historic night at the Arena surpassing Kareen Abdul Jabbar to become the all-time high scorer. 

For this occasion, she was styled by a popular stylist Casey Billingsley, who is also known as IconTips. The duo started collaborating in 2021 and ever since Savannah’s fashion has changed tremendously. She has been making appearances with trendsetting looks that grab the eyes of attendees. The star designer has been phenomenal in transforming the fashion narrative of celebrities and she has worked with an array of socialites and Savannah is only one of them. Billingsley is one of the stylists who ensures that her dress gets the attention of global fashion enthusiasts no matter what.

Very recently, the star’s wife had also appeared on the cover page of The Cut magazine, however, she opened up to the media saying she “wasn’t super comfortable” putting herself on the display like that while she wanted to focus on her family. However, like her husband, she is also the talk of the town lately, and the diva is now more often active on her social media accounts. Besides being active on Instagram, she also makes public appearances garnering much attention from the public. When asked about how she feels to be the center of attention all of a sudden, Savannah replied with a light smile saying maybe it is her time “to be seen.”
