Meghan Markle Turns Heads Attending Red Carpet Premiere in Black Ensemble

Prince Harry and Duchess Megan are once again in the limelight as reporters caught them on a date night in Kingston, the capital of Jamaica on Tuesday night. They were on the way to attend Bob Marley” One Love’s red carpet premiere.

The Power Couple Made Their Presence Counted With Their Mesmerizing Style

The Biopic is about the Jamaican singer and guitarist, Bob Marley. The movie celebrates the life and music of the instrumental musician who inspired millions of individuals with his music that people of every generation still recall and admit the quality of. The premiere is only the first step towards experiencing the journey behind the life of the revolutionary singer. 

It was the first public appearance made by the couple in 2024. Meghan stunned with her look in Carolina Herrera’s Icon collection as she amped a midnight black ball gown attached to a plain black bodice. The dramatic spaghetti straps tucked into the furry silk taffeta skirt turned out to be the highlight of the ensemble. She sided the look with minimal jewelry such as her wedding ring and absolutely stunning gold disc earrings by Jennifer Meyer. 

As for her royal husband, he rocked an easygoing navy blue suit and topped it with a white collared top that he left loosely unbuttoned. Harry teamed the entire look with a classic glossy pair of shoes. On the red carpet, the power couple posed alongside Jamaican Prime Minister Andrew Holness, his better half Juliet Holness, producer Brian Robbins, his wife, Tracy James, and Parliament member Olivia Grange. 

The Duke and Duchess of Sussex walked the red carpet hand-in-hand. After getting clicked by the paparazzi, the couple went on to mingle with a few fellow attendees including Bob Marley’s son, Ziggy. Their fans clearly understood the happiness and satisfaction the couple had while attending their favorite Bob Marley film’s premiere. They were invited by the Robbins family, with whom the royal pair keeps a very personal relationship.

Meghan and Harry are no longer a part of the royal family and therefore, the visit to the official state was not on behalf of the British monarchy. Very recently, the journalist Omid Scobie became vocal about how unlikely the reconciliation is between Meghan and Harry with the royal family. By putting light on the recent success of Meghan and her life as an individual who is not correlated with the royal family, he further added that life is no longer complicated. She is indeed quite established in the world without being involved in royal dramas. “I know her team spoke about the reason why she didn’t attend the coronation,” he said. At the time, the reason behind her not attending the function was said to be Archie’s birthday, whereas, the real reason is that she did not desire to come any closer to that country, let alone the family, he concluded. According to the Endgame author, the way the royal family treated her during the funeral of the Queen had a major impact on her decision to not set foot in the country in the near future. 

“One could argue that the ball is in their court, but we know that they are not hitting the ball back anytime soon,” the 42-year-old journalist added.
