The Trending Video Song
The newly released video of “Seem An I”, directed by Colm Bairéad, starring Ruth Wilson is hitting the internet. The video begins with eerie scenes of a foreboding barn, a tree adorned with a lock of black hair, and a vast meadow. Actress Ruth Wilson, known for her roles in “The Affair” and “Luther,” zooms into the frame, sprinting tirelessly. Shot by director Colm Bairéad at Kennel Farm near Salisbury, England, the clip incorporates Blair Witch-esque close-ups of a wardrobe bearing the scratched-in words “love me tender”. This enigmatic imagery ties into the themes of PJ Harvey’s poetry book, Orlam, which inspired the lyrics for “Seem an I” and the entire album.
