Blake Lively Adorns Animal Print At New York Fashion Week

Blake Lively stepped out for New York Fashion Week on Tuesday, just a couple of days after attending the Super Bowl with her pal Taylor Swift. The actress, 36, attended the event dressed in a modern giraffe trench coat and a mini skirt, making a lasting impression at Michael Kors’ Fall/Winter 2024 runway show.

“The Age of Adaline” alum paired the chic design with an inner body-hugging brown shirt and leather boots and she completed her look with a coordinated purse. She sided the look with chunky rings and large statement earrings. The mom of four left her lustrous blonde hair open in beachy waves and kept her makeup simple and elegant.  The sophisticated look of the star was highly expected as lately, lively has been paying much attention to her outfits. Her appearance at the Super Bowl, rocking a red tracksuit with a white tank top is an example. 

The actress walked into the ceremony with her sister, Robyn Lively, who looked incredible in a black bell-sleeved  A-line dress. It seems like the Lively sisters love the animal print so much that even Robyn slipped into animal print heels for the occasion. 

Besides them, other celebrities in attendance included Nina Dobrev, Kelsea Ballerini, Rache; Brosnahan, Brie Larson, and Katie Holmes. 

In a statement, Lively said that she was surprised that she made it in time, as the schedule was so tight due to her Super Bowl travels and the snowstorm in the northeast. 

‘I can’t believe I am here,” Lively said with a laugh. She further added that due to the limited time she “almost showed up with wet hair and no makeup.” Then she went on to say how happy she was the situation did not demand her to show up like that.

‘Nobody could make it to me in time to get me ready and I do not make myself look like this. But, I would love to,” she stated. However, Likely explained that she was happy to be in attendance to support her longtime friend, Michael. “He showed up for me and made me enter the world of fashion,” she recalled. “He was the one to include me, and therefore, I will always show up for him.” 

Earlier this week, Lively made headlines for her appearance at the Super Bowl, during which she and Swift were frequently shown on the screen cheering for Swift’s boyfriend, Travis Kelce, as he and his team, the Kansas City Chiefs defeated the San Francisco 49ers.

Meanwhile, Lively’s husband, actor Ryan Reynolds took a photo of himself to Instagram on Sunday standing in front of a television that played the much-awaited trailer for “Deadpool & Wolverine.” the trailer debuted during the Super Bowl XVIII live broadcast, however, it could not beat the buzz surrounding Swift’s appearance at the game. 

As for Raynolds, he captioned the clip with a question that read, “Has anyone seen the Deadpool trailer? Also, has anyone seen my wife (Blake Lively)?” Raynolds joked. A few hours later, Lively playfully fired back with a reply post that she shared on her Instagram, standing in front of the same TV with Raynold’s character on the screen. “Honey, I’m home,” she captioned.
