How To Apply Magnetic Lashes

What are magnetic lashes? How to apply magnetic lashes? Before we get into that, I’m guessing, you have wanted long, sultry lashes that give you an effortless glam look.

Let’s look at the alternatives. You can either use eyelash extensions, fake lashes, gluing or have a collection of mascaras. These options are not easy. They cost a lot and will require a very specific set of skills.

Now, if you are like me then you can forget about applying the fake lashes.  I can’t even do a winged liner for the life of me.

It can be difficult to put on eyelash glue and apply the fake lashes perfectly. Similarly, mascara will only make your lashes look like they have more volume. So what do you do? Yes! You guessed it, magnetic lashes.

Best Magnetic Lashes Of 2023

Don’t be surprised when I tell you that magnetic lashes look exactly like fake lashes. But what makes it cool is that magnetic lashes have tiny magnets attached to them. Magnetic lashes are an excellent way to get long, beautiful lashes without all the hard work of trying to apply lash glue and then accidentally stabbing your eyeball.

Magnetic lashes

What makes them popular among the ladies is that they are so easy to use. It’s not messy at all.

But, how do they work?

Two magnetic lashes go above and below your natural lash and sandwich it.

The magnets attached to the lash band of the two strips stick to each other to give you a flawless natural look.

How To Apply Magnetic Lashes?

It is comparatively really easy to apply magnetic lashes. Take a look;

  • Start by removing the residue of any makeup that you applied previously. Your eyelashes should be clean.
  • Curl your eyelashes with an eyelash curler. You should do this to create a solid base for the magnetic lashes to properly stick to your eyes.
  • Apply mascara to your natural lashes. This is optional but applying mascara on your natural lashes before you apply the magnetic eyelashes will give that doe eyes (1) look. It will also look more natural and realistic.
  • Put on your magnetic lashes. Take one lash and bend it a little so that it creates a natural curve. This will make it easier to apply. Then put the other lash underneath your natural lashes.
  • Make sure that the magnets click together. So the lashes will be above and below your natural lashes.

Applying these lashes can seem tricky at first. But, once you start using them, it gets easier. You can either apply the magnetic eyelashes with your fingers or with an eyelash applicator.

Applying the lashes with an eyelash applicator will be easier. All you have to make sure is that the lashes are in place and that the magnets click together.

How To Remove Magnetic Lashes?

But how do you remove them? Lucky for you, removing magnetic lashes is pretty easy. Do not just rip the lashes off of your eyes.

Use your index finger and thumb to slowly slide the magnets away from each other. If you rip off the magnets, it might cause damage to your natural lashes. Be gentle with yourself while ripping your lashes off.

Tips and Tricks For Applying Your Lashes!

Let me tell you a little trick to getting the perfect lashes. Wear your eyeliner as close to your natural eyelashes as possible. This will give you a complete look. Similarly, start applying the magnetic lashes from the outer corner of the eye, rather than the inner corner.

Always wear mascara on your natural lashes before applying the magnetic lashes. If you apply mascara directly on your magnetic lashes they will get clumpy and look awkward. Mascara might prevent them from having any further use.

Use a plastic eyelash applicator to put on the lashes. Avoid using tweezers (2) to apply magnetic lashes because the magnets might stick to the tweezers and not give you a smooth application.

If the edges of the lash seem to stick out, you can slightly trim it and position it in a more secure way so that it looks natural.
