Kylie Jenner Emraced Her Minimalist Look At Golden Globes 2024

Kylie Jenner is known for her bold and vibrant look. The Genz is influenced by her lip liners and cease-cut glam. The beauty and business mogul was sure never an inspiration for the “less is good” kinda make-up. Her glamour screams “Extraaaaa” and though we would never have imagined her in minimalist makeup, it turns out Kylie slays such a look too. 

It has been a while since Kylie has been embracing minimal looks. Whether it is car ride selfies or beach pics, the Kylie cosmetics owner is flaunting her bare-faced look like a pro. But this time it was different, Kylie rocked the infamous Golden Globes award show in a minimalist make-up look with a little golden hue and sparkled the shine all over.

Even though the American socialite entered the show through a backdoor and skipped the red carpet, she was still the center of focus at times. 

Kylie attended the event with her beau, Timothée Chalamet, who was nominated for Best Actor — Motion Picture Musical or Comedy – for his role as Willy Wonka in the live-action prequel, Wonka. They were often pictured kissing and getting all cutesy in between the award announcements. 

Talking about Kylie’s glam at the Golden Globes 24’, She sported a lacy black catsuit with see-through material that elegantly exposed her exquisite silhouette. Kylie decided to keep her jewelry game minimal too with just a single diamond ear cuff. For her hair, the beauty diva opted for a loose bun with strands of hair loosely framing her face. And finally, for the makeup, Kylie appeared to skip the eyeshadow altogether with no eyeliner and just nude lips. 

Over the years, Kylie’s lookout for makeup has dropped from the “King Kylie” aesthetic which is “more is more” kinda make-up to a “less is better” kinda aesthetic. She even addressed this change of perspective on makeup in one of her interviews with Hommegirls(1). She said — Motherhood has “made me love myself more. I see my features in my daughter and my son now, but you know, my daughter looks like me. I get to see my beauty in her, and it’s made me love myself more for sure,” said the beauty mogul. “Beauty is always changing for me. I think less is more. I’ve really gotten down my full look, it’s still the same look but way less. I’m just embracing my natural beauty, my freckles, and my bushy brows.”
