North West announces music debut

North West must have a lot of her father’s DNA, as besides looking like him, she has now announced that she is working on her debut album ‘Elementary School Dropout’ at the age of 10. Kanye West and Kim Kardashian’s daughter made the exciting revelation during the listening party of Kanye’s album, Vultures, in Phoenix on March 10. She simply hit the stage with the rapper, who is better known as Ye, and said “And I have been working on an album.” Even before she could complete her line, it drew an ovation from the crowd who were at the event on Sunday night. “And it is called Elementary School Dropout,” North continued.

Besides Ye, the 10-year-old was accompanied by her siblings Psalm and Chicago who stood on the Footprint Center stage holding each other’s hands while also grooving to her Vultures song.  North is featured on Kanye’s Vultures; “Talking,’ which hopped to No. 30 on the Hot 100 with a whopping 12.33 million official US streams within a week of its release.

The Yeezy founder will likely be heavily involved in the process of ESD and he seems to be quite proud as a father, especially after the Hot 100 entry made his daughter one of the youngest artists to ever show up on the chart.

As for Kardashian, she also showcased her support for her daughter by celebrating her accomplishment of “Talking” by reposting the chart on her Instagram Stories with a note that read, “My baby!!!”

The next listening party of Vultures was slated for today, March 12, at the Chase Center in San Franciso.

During an event earlier this year, Ye and Ty Dolla roughly played a handful of songs slated to land on their upcoming Vultures 2 sequel, and the tracks included “Promotion” featuring Future, “Believin” featuring Project Pat, “Enemies,” “Slide,’ “Dead” with Lil Durk and Future, “Filed TRip/Venom” featuring Don Toliver, Lil Durk, and Playboi Carti.

Reportedly, The Vulture duo is slated to make a live performance debut on Thursday, March 14, at the Rolling Loud, California. The album was previously announced for a March 8 release date, however, Ye recently met with a major backlash for his hate speech which also lost him a lot of business deals, and following that, he teased the album would be available on Yeezy.com for $20. So, Ye, so far has no plans to give the right over his album to any of the streaming services.

After North made the announcement, ye’s fans were quick to spot the resemblance between the titles of North’s upcoming track and Ye’s album titled “The College Dropout’ which earned him hip-hop success in 2004 after being a sought-after producer. So far, further details about the upcoming album are kept under wrap. It is unclear whether it will be released any soon given her young age, however, both Ye’s and Kardashian’s fans have been showing support to the young talent since the announcement came out.

However, some of X users have showcased their concern with one writing “I hope she does not get expelled out of her elementary school,” meanwhile, another chimed in “Are you serious girl? You are saying this at the age of 10. I want to see your parents.”
