Suki Waterhouse Almost Sets Her Dior Dress on Fire While Doing Laundry

The Good Looking actress posted a video on Instagram on 31st December in which she is seen standing beside a sink that is aesthetically ablaze with a few lit candles. In the video, Suki explains how she has become a “changed woman” because earlier she used to shoot videos in stained clothes. So, as motherhood is about to hit her, she is learning to “clean and become an adult woman.” Suki picks a sheer Dior dress to show the audience how she does laundry. Classy mama!

Also, she expresses her willingness to handwash the dress since “it makes me feel like a prairie girl in the 1950s.” 

The video is however in paid partnership with The Laundress for their “Love at First Wash” campaign. The Laundress is a luxury laundry detergent. 

Thel soon-to-be-mama Suki flaunted her baby bump in a bohemian-kind crop top while washing her Dior dress in the sink(1). Everything was going fine until at the end of the clip, the 31-year-old actress appeared wearing the washed Dior dress, flinging its sheer sleeves on the flames of a lit candle. Though the video was about a laundry detergent, Suki’s fans couldn’t help but almost lose their breath over those few seconds where Suki’s dress is playing with the flames. 

“Not you almost setting your Dior dress on fire 😭” commented one fan. 

“Me putting the 🔥 emoji the other day before realizing you almost caught the dress on fire 😅🥹🫣” penned another.

Even Suki’s mom took to her Instagram chat to appreciate her daughter’s new skill, saying, “Domesticated by candlelight. Suki, my cup floweth over”. Suki shared the screenshot of this chat with her fans. 

Luckily, the candlelight laundry date did not turn into a disaster and the Dior dress was saved. 

A quick update on Suki’s pregnancy: Waterhouse is having her first child with the actor Robert Pattinson, with whom she has been in a relationship for 5 years. Recently, Suki was pictured wearing a diamond ring which sparked their engagement buzz among netizens. A source confirmed the engagement rumor to People, “they both want to be married. It’s important for them,” said the source. 

Earlier too the relationship buzz of Suki and Robert has been backed by sources. They said, the couple is “very serious and have been”. The news of their first child together has been an absolute joy for them. “They are thrilled beyond words,” said the source.
