Kate Cassidy Spotted With Boyfriend Liam Payne In Paris After A Long Time

On Saturday, the One Direction alum Liam Payne and the social media influencer, Kate Cassidy, were spotted hand in hand in the city of love, Paris. For the day out, the 30-year-old singer wore a cropped, double-breasted jacket along with oversized green trousers which he matched with platform dress shoes.

Cassidy, who has been his love interest for more than a year, sported a see-through, striped Alaia dress. Later that outing, she took a photo wearing the outfit to her Instagram post with a caption that read, “Pardon my French, but I f****** love this dress.” 

On the same day, she took a carousel of snaps of their France trip which included a cute selfie of the duo in which Liam wrapped his arm around Cassidy’s waist. 

The singer who previously dated Cheryl Cole, with whom he shares a son, Bear, 6, initially sparked dating rumors with Cassidy in October 2022, when they were spotted together attending a Halloween party.  Though the pair have mostly kept their relationship off social media, Cassidy sometimes shares one or two snaps of the couple. 

Last August, on One-Direction alum’s 30th birthday, she posted a tribute for him on Instagram which their fans found too romantic. The video included several selfies and candids of the couple. Not only on Instagram, she also makes a rare appearance on TikTok. Their famous TikToks include one which is titled the ‘Disney World date vlog,’ and another one in which she is seen styling Liam’s clothes. 

For some time, they were neither spotted together, nor Liam appeared on Cassidy’s Instagram posts or stories. This made their fans speculate a potential breakup, however, shortly after the breakup rumors began to swirl, Liam and Cassidy cleared the air by showing up together holding hands on a London date night. 

On Friday, March,1, Liam graced billboards to advertise his new single titled, ‘Teardrops,’ and shared glimpses of his son’s reaction on both Instagram and X. In the picture, Bear was seen looking up at the billboard and his dad captioned the post saying that Bear would one day like to follow “his dad’s footsteps.” 

The post garnered much attention from his fans who expressed their joy in seeing Liam’s son. “HOW IS HE SO BIG?” a fan wrote under the post. “It seems like he was born only yesterday,” another one chimed in. 

Very recently, Cole, 40, revealed in a statement that Bear loves to be in the spotlight as he was both proud and happy to have famous parents. However, Cole remarked how she wanted her son to “have a normal childhood.” 

She added that she would never want people to recognize him on the street.

As for Liam, who always wished to be a young father, has been enjoying fatherhood for six years now. However, in 2018 he opened up about the challenges of being a father at 23. He said at the time that being a father at 23 did not come easy to him.

In a 2020 interview, Liam mentioned that he had his son at a very young age. He noted that there’s a common assumption that becoming a parent is a magical transformation into the person you’re meant to be, but he emphasized that it took him a significant effort to find his footing.
