Selena Gomez Dons Full Red Outfit At Boyfriend Benny Blanco’s Birthday Party

Selena Gomes does not make headlines very often, but when she does, she ensures it is worth it. On Saturday, March 9, Selena Gomez, 31, turned up the heat as she celebrated her new boyfriend Benny Blanco’s 36th birthday in a breathtaking red outfit, while also rockin’ a new hairstyle.

The ‘Ice Cream’ singer who recently admitted she was romantically linked to the music producer, decided to go with a red theme for the birthday bash by wearing a bright red sequinned mini dress that featured a daring plunging neckline and thin straps. At one point, Gomez added a large red fur coat on top of the outfit and shared a few snaps sporting the ultra-glamorous spin. 

She finished off her ensemble with dramatic makeup and a voluminous blowout which helped her nail 2024’s Mob Wives aesthetics. She could be the last one to nail the trend, however, she ensured to make it to the headlines by looking otherworldly. 

For the accessories, the “Only Murderers in the Building” alum chose a dazzling diamond necklace and a pair of matching sparkly studs. However, the highlight of her look was the new short bob haircut.  Her glam included rocking, dark-winged eyeliner, and long dramatic lashes. After the party, her Instagram Stories were filled with pictures that she took with a handful of her friends including Nicola Peltz Beckham and her husband Brooklyn Beckham. 

Besides arranging a birthday party for the love of her life, Gomez also gave her significant other a cute shoutout on her IG. 

“Happy birthday baby!” she captioned the carousel of pictures of the couple adding, “Your positive disposition, emotional endurance, unbelievable humor, and kind heart kill me.”  

Gomez and Blanco have a lot in common and music is only one of them. The pair enjoy cooking Blanco is the author of a cookbook titled, “Open Wide: A Cookbook for Friends and it is not a secret that Selena has a cooking show on HBO Max. 

Very recently, Blanco made a rare appearance on TalkShopLive where he shared an insight into Gomez’s favorite dishes. “She is a huge steak fan. So you know, anything that has steak in it,” he said adding, “Yesterday I just brought her- she loves soup- it is not in my book. So she was on a shooting yesterday, so I made a little soup, and I brought it over to her.” 

Recently, Gomez shared an update on her personal life in a statement saying “she’s currently happy.” 

“Part of me feels like I am finally at a good place,” she remarked adding that her peace of mind will reflect on her upcoming music. When asked about her upcoming track, she said that it was created “from a place of confidence” and is expected to exhibit the “joy and curiosity” that she has been experiencing for a while.

Her Saturday outfit was a stark contrast to the all-white sequinned Versage gown that she donned at the SAG Awards in February. Throughout this awards season, Gomex has been successfully mixing classic style with some edgier looks. At the 2024 Golden Globes, the “Wizards of Waverly Place” star sported a bold red gown by Giorgio Armani which featured, asymmetrical hemline, black rosettes, and an asymmetrical hemline.
