Zendaya Shines on Red Carpet in ’95 Mugler Look

This is not a drill. The 27-year-old actress arrived at the world premiere of her upcoming flick, Dune: Part Two, wearing archival Thierry Mugler from the 1995 Haute Couture Collection on Thursday at Leicester Square in London. Her look is best described as jaw-dropping and it is nothing short of otherworldly.

The ‘Euphoria’ star walked the red carpet radiating an ethereal aura, serving up some serious robot-glam from the Fall/Winter couture collection of Mugler. She donned the body-hugging armor-style outfit that featured clear panel cutouts around her arms, backside, abs, legs, and chest with a sapphire-encrusted Bulgari neckpiece. 

Styled by celebrity stylist, Law Roach, Zendaya was looking like a treat herself. The look has left her fans gagged. “This is literally a piece of fashion history,” an X user noted, while the other one chimed in ‘It is not a remake, but taken directly from Manfred’s archives.”

Her fans are obsessed to see her wearing the vintage Mugler “She is the fashion girlie for a reason,” another one commented. As for Roach, who seemed to be so proud for putting her into this outfit took to Instagram and penned, “And yes, it is the ORIGINAL suit.” Out of excitement, he also shared a picture of famous boxer Muhammed Ali that reads, “I’ am the greatest.” 

Just two months into 2024, Zendaya has already made headlines multiple times for wowing her fans with her glamorous press looks, from an edgy all-black leather pantsuit to a gravity-defying gown and showing off underboob as an accessory last week. 

Besides the robotic panel, her glam included the dewy, nude makeup and her hair, which was set up in a sleek updo with a small portion of it hanging on her forehead. Zendaya, who is loved for her versatility as an actor, is currently equally appreciated for her fashion sense. Fans had some strong reactions to her looks and many more memes are circulating on social media. One reads “actors when they think they have pulled out the best outfit for the event and realizes Zendaya is gonna be there.”

Over the past few weeks, Zendaya has ensured to leave the fashion world spellbound. Every time she attended the premiere, she brought glitz to the ceremony with her impeccable fashion sense. 

Although Zendaya turned heads at the London Premiere, another attraction of the event was the surprise revelation of Anya-Taylor Joy in the movie. The Dune: Part Two cast couldn’t get more star-studded than it already is as it includes Timothee Chamalet, Austin Butler, Zendaya, Florence Pugh, Rebecca Ferguson, Christopher Walken, Lea Seydouz, and many more. 

It was previously rumored that Anya will play a surprising role in the film and her attendance in the London premiere confirmed it.

In a recent interview with host Yinki Bokinni for Warner Bros, TikTok star Anya disclosed her involvement in Dune 2. According to her, it was a dream come true moment when she offered to join the franchise. “The books are incredible, but with Denis and the cast, it doesn’t get any better,” she said at the time. When Bokinnoi asked about the movie, Anya said it was the best movie she had ever seen and then, she went on to credit Denis.
