Emily Blunt Shows Up for Jimmy Kimmel Live in Polka Fashion

Emily Blunt was clicked walking under the sunlight on Thursday as she geared to the studio of Jimmy Kimmel Live. The ‘Oppenheimer’ alum had a gorgeous glow last evening and she coupled it up with her impeccable fashion. The fashion chameleon, who recently made headlines for checking all the right boxes at the BAFTA as well as its after-party, looked captivating in the black plunging dress with white polka dots.

The Oscar-nominated actress opted for a black gown that featured a dramatic deep V neckline, accentuating her gorgeous frame. She topped the dress with a black belt that featured a large black and flat bow in the center. Adding a touch of allure, she left her blond and shiny hair down and they were parted to the sides and arranged in soft curls. 

‘The Devil Wears Prada’ star looked ravishing with her face done in simple and dewy makeup with a glossy finish on her lips. Her glam also included the accessories that she wore including earrings and a single bracelet. She was all decked out in silver jewelry and to finish off her look, she rocked a pair of understated white sneakers while also garnering attention to her glossy, wine-colored manicure. The mother of two also carried a black leather handbag and ever since the photo went viral on different social media platforms, her fans were requesting someone to make her do the “What’s in my bag” challenge. 

Earlier this month, Blunt took to Instagram that she found out about her Oscar nomination while she was busy cleaning up dog poop. It was her first-ever Academy Award nomination and the recognition was given for the incredible performance she delivered in Cillian Muphy’s Oppenheimer. 

Speaking to Josh Horowitz, the actress said “Sometimes the buzz can be built on sand and it’s all quite scary. She further exhibited her excitement for receiving her first-ever Oscar nomination. 

“When it happened, it happened for every crew member in such a far-reaching way and it was magical,” she remarked. 

Last week, Blunt made headlines for stunning a daring naked dress at the 2024 BAFta Awards. That night, the saga bagged as many awards as possible for her dress as it looked dope and added more glam to the beauty. She attended the star-studded ceremony wearing a bejeweled naked gown that featured dramatic cutouts, bell sleeves, and a sweeping train. The Elie Saab gown was sparkly from head to toe, and it also showcased some skin. Her outfit of the night was nothing short of spectacular. 

The dress was accented with a sheer fabric with silver stones. It had a crystal-embedded band across the waist that played a major part in defining the shape of the ensemble. However, the party attendees could not take their eye off the midriff-baring cut-outs as they added to the risque element of the dress.

She paired the dress with a statement-making necklace, coordinating earpiece, and a few diamond rings from Tiffany & Co while also wearing gold strappy heels. To add the cool factor, Blunt did her hair in an updo with face-framing layers falling to her face from either side.
