Zendaya Absolutely Stuns In Sparkling Armani Prive Gown At The 2024 Oscars

The 27-year-old fashion chameleon, Zendaya, attended the Oscars 2024 on Sunday, March 10 in a palm tree print pink dress by Armani. She has been serving up slay after slay for a while since the Dune: Part Two premiere kicked off earlier this year. The actress arrived at the Oscars 2024 donning a high-drama couture look by the legendary Italian designer.

Styled by her usual stylist, Law Roach, Zendaya looked otherworldly in the black and pink Giorgio Armani Prive column gown. For the occasion, the ‘Euphoria’ alum wore her hair in soft waves which went so cool with the antique rose silk gown that featured a single roped strap. It accents an embellished bodice of paillettes in gunmetal and embroidered palm tree print. 

Though Zenadaya usually grabs attention for her chunky pieces of jewelry, for this event, she chose to wear simple accessories including high jewelry earrings in rare pink gold that were encrusted with pink tourmalines, morganites, mandarin garnets, and diamonds. However, the trendsetter still easily managed to make her look appealing to her fans. Some of the memes are circulating in social media claiming the 2024 Oscars went to Zendaya alone, as the only reason why most people watch the show is to admire her rather than see who wins the Oscars. 

Reportedly, her hair is styled by celebrity hairstylist, Tai Simon, who arranged her locks beautifully using only Jaico hair products. Her short bob black hair was left open with a single outward curl in the end, making her look like an 80s star. Her fans loved the attire and they were sparking a flurry of comments with one saying, “Model be glad that Zendaya is an actress, or she would have at you like nobody else,” while another one chimed in, “Are you serious Zendaya? Aren’t you going to stop looking all gorgeous any time soon?  I feel blessed to breathe the same air as you.” 

Zendaya has been making headlines seven days a week for her standout Dune: Part Two red carpet looks. Though each of them was better than the other, some of her outfits came out as best when compared to the rest and they include an archival two-piece Givenchy look, a Stephanie Rolland white gown with dramatic cutouts, a Juun, J leather suit, and a Thierry Mugler chrome bodysuit. 

Her sci-fi-inspired outfits from the movie premieres fall into a specific category of red carpet dressing which is called “method dressing,” a strategy when actors take aspects of their character, the plot of the film, or the scenery and apply them to their streel-style ensemble or red carpet dressing.  During a conversation with Vogue Roach said that they adopt method dressing, adding that the looks serve as an extension to the wardrobe from the flick. He further admitted that he followed the strategy intentionally and purposefully.

The Golden Globe-winning actress served as a co-host this week at the Green Carpet Fashion Awards, an event that promotes sustainability in human rights causes and fashion. At that event, Zendaya, who has long favored wearing vintage looks, chose to wear a vintage Roberto Cavalli flapper-inspired dress.
