What Is The Difference Between Toner And Toner Pads?

The main difference between liquid toner and toner pads lies in their form and application methods.

Traditional toners are in liquid form and are available in bottles, while Toner Pads are pre-soaked pads infused with toner solution. They come stacked in a container.

Toner requires application with cotton pads or hands by swiping or patting. Toner Pads eliminate the need for additional application tools as they are pre-soaked with toner.

  • Convenience: I used to dread carrying around toner bottles and cotton pads, but with these pre-soaked pads, it’s so much easier.
  • Efficient Toning: The toner is evenly distributed on these pads so I know I’m getting thorough and consistent application every time.
  • Hydration: Hydration is no joke. These pads are infused with hydrating ingredients like hyaluronic acid and glacial water leaving my skin feeling plump and moisturizing.
  • Targeted treatment: One of the things I love most is the targeted treatment aspect. With different pads for different skin concerns, I can tailor my skincare routine to what my skin needs most.
  • Soothing and Calming: My skin can be sensitive at times, but these pads help calm and soothe any irritation and redness.
  • Exfoliation: One side of the Mediheal toner pad is rough which can be used for gentle exfoliation

Regular toner and toner pads serve the same purpose in their skincare routine however they differ in their formulation and application.

Regular toner

  • It is typically a liquid formula that comes in a bottle.
  • It is applied using cotton pads or by hand.
  • They commonly contain ingredients like glycerin, witch hazel, rice water, or various other botanical extracts to nourish and hydrate the skin.

Toner pads

  • They provide more targeted applications, allowing you to focus on specific areas of concern.
